The June 30, 2016 at the Rome Latin Village there has been the show of the Parangolé group. Parangolé is a band of Bahian Pagode appeared in 1997 in Salvador of Bahia, in the Federation district, and more precisely in the “Bar Dona Maria”.
Every afternoon in this bar, Adriano Nenel and Nailton Alves would gather to play cards, and always, at the end of games, to play pagode, samba, salsa, axe and percussive rhythms. At the people liked their music and the movement spread around the city.
This band is today the heir of this twenty-year tradition of bahian music. (see photo gallery)
